The Dias Hill Sanctuary is a reiki and mindfulness coaching hub serving clients in the Wiltshire and Somerset areas, offering reiki sessions to women. We also facilitate online coaching to the community and to companies worldwide.
The idea for The Dias Hill Sanctuary came about from Lara having recovered from PTSD, anxiety and depression. The life line that she was given was one she wanted to offer to others, through a somatic mind body connection. Lara is passionate about providing a safe space for clients to come, relax and feel a sense of support and normality.
Mission
The Dias Hill Sanctuary aims to provide a space for clients to come, feel supported, safe and relaxed. We take the time to get to know our clients, to see how they communicate and work best, no two people are the same which means no treatment plan is the same. We believe that treatments should be done holistically, meaning that the whole mind and body should be taken into account not just specific systems and body parts where pain or stress presents itself. The bigger picture is important for healing to take place. All treatments are offered judgment free and clients are encouraged to show up for sessions at the emotional and physical present they feel and will hopefully leave with a sense of empowerment and normality.
Vision
At present we offer reiki sessions in our home and travel to clients homes. We also provide mindfulness coaching online worldwide. In the future, we hope to have a physical sanctuary where all sessions are offered and clients can come for hour, day, weekend and week treatments. As we are animal lovers we hope to rescue animals who can then also receive the love and care that they deserve. Animals have a great capacity to offer healing to others and two way therapy can be done with humans and our furry friends.
Our mission to provide a safe environment is paramount to our future and will always be our main concern.
Who Are We?

Lara Dias Hill
Founder
Lara is a fully qualified and accredited Level 2 Reiki therapist, with a diploma in Meditation Teaching and a certificate in Tranformational Coaching. She is also currently studying for a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol. Upon graduation, Lara aims to combine the two, to blend science and holistic therapies with a Somatic approach.
Lara has a background in Leadership Development, having led teams in the NHS, Education and Food industry for the last decade. The highlight of her working life so far has been watching the development and growth of the women in The Tribe of Wild Roses. These inspirational women are Lara's muses and the reason she continues to learn and develop herself.
Lara adores animals and part of her own healing journey, came from welcoming in two beautiful dogs into the family. The dogs zest for life and compassion has taught her so much. She is her most comfortable self when out in nature with her girls and husband.
Lara's mission in life is to spread as much happiness and kindness to other living souls.
What Should I Expect In a Session?
Reiki sessions will be done on a comfortable, stable treatment bed with a soft blanket draped over the client as they will be led down for around 15 - 40 minutes depending on length of session. Lara will gently place her hands on the client and they may feel some heat, cold or tingling. Most clients experience deep relaxation and fall asleep within minutes.
Background music will be played or silence can be had if the client prefers.
Each of our sessions are tailored to the clients needs. Some may benefit from longer reiki healing, in depth breath work or discussion time. All we ask of our clients is to attend sessions in the emotional and physical state they feel at present.
Clients should wear clothes they feel comfortable lying down in, will keep them warm and with socks on. We do not treat clients with bare feet unless this is medically necessary.
Hygiene and safety is important to both therapist and the client so please keep this is mind, this is a sign of respect for each other. Beds will be sanitised between clients and hands will be washed as well.
Mindfulness Coaching will be done online on a 1:1 basis.
Sessions will help clients break free from limiting beliefs, overcome inner blocks, and cultivate a stronger sense of purpose.
This type of coaching often involves examining core values, revisiting past experiences, and reshaping how a person views themselves and their potential.
The ultimate goal is not just to solve immediate challenges but to empower individuals to live in alignment with their true selves and create a life that reflects their highest aspirations
